My name is Polly Lau. I am from Hong Kong and I can speak Cantonese, Chinese and English. As my qualifications, I graduated from The Education University of Hong Kong with a bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts education in 2017. Along with my major study and two teaching internship experiences, these will help me contribute effectively and I believe these skills, combined with my ability to foster constructive learning environments.
From my current and past teaching experiences, my progressively responsible teaching experience in the past 5 years in art studio and secondary school have allowed me get expertise in teaching different art medium. I’m proficient in various media to teach oil pastels, poster colour, water colour, acrylic, and sketching for kids, teenagers and even adult. I also have experienced to teach the subject Chinese as second language in my past teaching period.
I familiar with cooperating parents and social worker in the school environment except for time management and resource distribution, classroom arrangement and lesson preparation. Regardless of enthusiasm and progress in art and education, I love teaching and will continue to strive to be a positive influence in their lives.
