Hi! I'm Oscar, an American linguist based in Spain. I've been an ESL teacher for 6 years, as well as a researcher in linguistics, and tutor for other undergrads in my field. As an extremely curious language student myself, as well as an expert in the field, I firmly believe that there is no better way to learn a language than by practice and exposure. My lessons are always focused on helping you communicate effectively as soon as possible for you to feel comfortable and confident, so I prefer not to use books, worksheets or any other traditional methods. You are the protagonist, and you will be the one to say what you want from the lessons. I'm just here to help you get to your goal, whether that's a certificate, a job interview, or an A on that essay.
