Orsolya

Hello, my name is Orsolya (but just call me Orshi!). I consider myself as an extremely open and communicative person, who always has a big smile on her face and will try to make you laugh. I am a Hungarian who was born in Serbia, so all my life I have been surrounded by different nationalities, which helped me develop a higher level of empathy and acceptance, and made me even more curious about other cultures. This is one of the main reasons I love travelling the world (28 countries so far!), meeting people from different countries, learning and trying new things, stepping out of my comfort zone as much as I can.

Besides travelling, walking in nature, reading, animals, working with children and being with my loved ones bring me the biggest joy in my life. I have 3 years of experience working in the education sector. For the past years, I have been working in an elementary school, my responsibilities have been mainly assisting students, counselling, tutoring, substituting, assistant teaching, etc. In these 3 years I have found my passion for English teaching, my love for the English language and with my experience with children and teenagers, I thought it would be a perfect role for me, so the last few months I've started tutoring in English as well. In my lessons I am mainly focused on communication and teaching the language through real-life situations based on the students' interests. I always try to make it fun and interesting with lots of laughing, where the students can be themselves and will feel motivated and powerful after every lesson.
