I have a Master's degree in English Language and literature, and I have been teaching for 15 years. I have taught in a public high school, on an international online platform, and I currently teach in a Cambridge certified private language academy here in Gipuzkoa, Basque country where I currently live. I am also fluent in Spanish (C1 DELE).

Hello! I am Maya and I am originally from Serbia, but I have been living in Spain on and off for more than 3 years. I am now settled in the beautiful Basque country and I am loving it! I have always taught English, tutoring when I was younger (until I got my degree in English Language and Literature), and in the last 15 years as a full time English teacher. I have worked in both public and private schools, as well as an online tutor for 6 years. I think I have a gift for teaching, and I love languages. I have been learning different languages over the years, and I understand both sides really well, which I think makes me good at what I do. I believe we learn best through mistake, so we shouldn't be afraid of making them!
