As an experienced educator with over 12 years of experience, I am passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of my students. I believe that every individual has the potential to become a successful learner with the right guidance and support. In my previous teaching roles, I have successfully enabled students to enhance their writing and reading abilities, as well as provided them with the confidence to participate in the classroom when presenting their work to their peers and teachers. I have also had the opportunity to work with children with special needs, enabling them to communicate effectively and develop a clear understanding of the subjects being taught by providing 1-1 support in a classroom environment. I have developed a range of skills throughout my years of experience, including creating suitable learning materials compatible with learners' levels of understanding, improvising teaching methods catering to their specific needs, monitoring progress, and identifying areas of development that can be targeted. I have also successfully collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective educational programs for students with special needs. With a bachelor's degree in Psychology and specializing in working with children that have additional needs such as autism and ADHD, I have developed expertise in modifying the factors that influence behaviour and teaching individuals using positive behavioural strategies. My passion for educational, behavioural, and child psychology has also enabled me to identify and nurture the unique strengths and abilities of each student, enabling them to grow in their learning journey.
