As I study Law at the University of Kent, I attended the young lawyer programme at UCL which provided key skills such as commercial awareness and public speaking through interactive seminars and Q&A sessions led by leading lawyers. I have tutored students from KS3 (ages 12-14), KS4 (14-16) GCSE and A Level students (16-18) to a high level of competency through the skills I teach and my ability to modify my tutoring style to fit a student’s learning preferences. I am aware of how critical it is for students to be comfortable with their work and have the ability to approach a subject from various perspectives. I am passionate about tutoring since assisting others is fulfilling, and I look forward to taking this passion to my next role.

Hello, my name is Marey. Through the skills I teach and my ability to adapt my tutoring method to a student's learning preferences, I have tutored students from KS3 (ages 12–14), KS4 (14–16), GCSE and A Level students (16–18) to a high level of competency. I began my career by volunteering at my secondary school to help students in year 9 about to approach their GCSEs. In my first year of University, I began online tutoring KS3, GCSE and A Level students and as I approach my final year I have found it inspiring to instil confidence to students who struggle with English in school. I understand the importance of students feeling confident and comfortable with their school work, as well as being able to approach a subject from multiple angles. Helping students through tutoring is a passion of mine, and it brings me great satisfaction to assist others in this way. I am excited to bring this enthusiasm to my upcoming position. I have helped with students' exams, coursework, and assignments, addressing concerns or queries from the students all within the competitive time frame of the English curriculum.
