I have a Joint Honours Bachelor degree in Spanish and Philosophy from The University of Hull. I was awarded a First Class degree with a Distinction in Spoken Spanish in 2016. I then went on to complete a Postgraduate Certificate of Education from Liverpool Hope University in 2017, specialising in Modern Languages (Spanish). For this I was awarded Pass with Merit.

Hi I'm Georgia! I am passionate about all things Spanish and love to share that passion with others. I truly believe that learning another language is one of the most enriching things you can do for yourself - with the ability to speak Spanish, I have had the opportunity to live and work in Spain, as well as travel through South America with ease. I have worked as a Spanish teacher and tutor both in the UK and Spain, working with students of all ages. Having learned Spanish from a young age myself, I have a good understanding of the challenges that new learners often encounter, and how best to approach and overcome these to facilitate learning. I love taking the time to get to know my students and learning about what motivates them to learn, and adapting my teaching methods to best suit their needs and wants. In addition to my interest in Spanish, I am also passionate about Philosophy and Ethics, subjects that I believe are not only at the core of almost all current affairs, but also provide the basis for critical thinking skills which can be applied to all fields. My method of teaching Philosophy focuses on 'how to think' rather than 'what to think', including the ability to find relevant sources of information, apply theoretical models to various topics and critically analyse sources to draw informed conclusions.
