My goal is to progress further in the field of teaching English to multi-lingual/multiethnic students and to continue my degree in Childhood Studies. As it is a particularly interesting and rewarding field for me, I would very much like to master more techniques in teaching English to very young children. Having been raised in a bi-lingual family, I consider myself naturally proficient in both languages and although primarily growing up in Gaeta, Italy, my family spent regular periods throughout each year in the UK with family and friends. A graduate in linguistics, my British mother, who originally comes from Cambridge, taught both English and Italian in Rome and Gaeta and I have benefitted from her experience. I am an exceptional communicator and have a wealth of global experience both professionally and socially. I consider myself intelligent, outgoing, lively, fun and sociable. I am extremely patient, both with children and adults and have a down-to-earth and warm nature. Determined to learn and grow, I welcome and embrace all challenges that come my way.

Hello there, my name is Elisa. I hope you choose me to be your English language teacher! Do not be afraid: I will speak very clearly, explaining everything to you and repeating until you understand! My lessons are always fun, we will play games, sing songs, use props, chat and have a good time! We will build up a good teacher/pupil relationship and you can ask me anything! I have both British and Italian nationalities and hold the TEFL Teaching Qualification awarded in Thailand. I have plenty of experience in teaching English, first in Italy, then in state schools in Thailand, then 2 years working for a private school in China called “First Leap” where some of pupils were very young indeed (I even did a “Baby start” lesson with some!!). For the past year I have been doing on-line lessons with Chinese children for Palfish, a Chinese school, which has been very rewarding.
