Hi my name is Christa and I am a fully qualified English teacher with 11 years experience. I have recently just moved back to Northern Ireland after teaching in a private school in Dubai for 6 years. I have a wealth of experience in the British curriculum and also international system at KS3, I/GCSE and A Level. I have been rated an Outstanding Teacher consistently throughout my career and recently won an award for 'Teacher of Innovation'. I have also spoken at the GESS international Teaching convention in Dubai several times. I am extremely passionate about teaching and believe it to be one of the most rewarding careers.

Throughout the last 11 years I have always tutored pupils outside of the classroom setting and I have always had success in helper the learner progress and achieve better grades. I am an extremely conscientious practitioner and aim to make my lessons both fun and engaging as well as expertly catering them to the individual needs of the pupil. I strive to empower, motivate and praise all of my pupils in order to enable them to reach their full potential. I can cover any aspect of English ( KS2, KS3, GCSE, A Level) and can adapt to whatever the specific needs of the pupil. These classes can be tailored to support the pupil in whichever way may be needed and I am able to set homework tasks, progress reports, assessments etc, depending on what you would like from the class. Having lived in Dubai I also have extensive experience in teaching EAL/ESL and would also be happy to offer a class catered towards acquiring the English Language.
