I am a dedicated qualified CELTA teacher with over 8 years’ experience teaching ESL. My teaching methods depend on the students' level of English and their needs. It is student centred as every strategy is about the student. I tutor various types of student profiles and they are not limited to High school goers, University students, Adults & professionals who seek to sharpen their skills in different areas.
These are some methods I employ in teaching:
• PPP -Presentation, practice and production. It is a method of introducing a linguistic skill, which enables. the student to apply the knowledge in everyday situations and can communicate.
• Interactive Method: Helps students participate and strengthen communication.
• I also incorporate the use of audio-visual elements into teaching to enhance learning and understanding. I believe in learning and applying the knowledge gained in everyday situations and this can be done in a fun and an interactive way. Therefore, I strongly believe the best way of showcasing our understanding and skills in life is through application.
