Ana Clara

My name is Ana Clara Assis Silva, I am graduated in Pedagogy (3-year program) at Faculdade de São Bernardo do Campo (FASB), Brazil. I currently live in London, I have worked as an English teacher since 2015 and, from 2020-2021, I have also being responsible for coordination assignments. In 2015, during my first work experience, I have being assigned as Coordination’s Assistant, dealing with Pre-school and Kindergarten kids at Equilibrium Núcleo Infantil de Ensino Bilíngue, a Portuguese-English School, Brazil. I have dealt with parents both daily and in feedback-meeting, and I also have generated pedagogical reports. After a year working there, I was promoted to being a Teacher Assistant, being responsible for creating pedagogical activities and for the kids personal care. In 2017, I became an English Teacher at Access International School (Brazil), firstly teaching basic and intermediary classes do Pre-school, Kindergarten and Elementary School kids. We were incentivized to developing dynamic classes and they were based on KWL, CLIL, and Montessori’s methods, as well as develop projects to help on the kids’ development in cognition, content, culture and communication. From 2020-2021, I started to work with some coordination tasks, supervising newly-hired teachers and supporting the contact between the school and the kids’ parents. And from 2021-2023 I am working as a nanny, here in London. During my undergraduate studies, I have also engaged in some extra activities, from English Certificates (TKT Young Learners and Content Language Integrated Learning) to experiencing a cultural exchange program in the United States. I speak Portuguese (native), English (fluent) and basic French.
